No current city readings are embedded in this static compare page. A comparison is available in the interactive view only when the official source returns values; absent values remain absent rather than being filled, interpolated, or represented as clean air.
For a meaningful comparison, use the same Indian AQI definition, CPCB bulletin date and averaging window. Check the number of reporting stations, city coverage and the pollutant named. A city value and an individual station value, or Indian AQI and an AQI calculated under another country's standard, are not interchangeable. A city range across several places is not a state or regional average.
Differences between cities do not explain their cause, exposure for every resident, or the effect of a policy. Weather, local conditions, station coverage and pollutant mix can differ.
